We made a trip to the Reisseck .
The Reisseck Cable Railway leads from the valley station to the mountain station, ascending more than 1.517 m in three different stages, with the steepest incline at 82%. It´s a great adventure for children and adults.

Over the course you´ll get a fantastic view of the astoundingly beautiful Reisseck mountain massif. From the mountain station, located at 2.245 m above sea level, you can continue on by taking the Reisseck Mountain Train, Europe´s highest narrow-gauge railway through a tunnel which is more than 2 km long, to the mountain restaurant. This is the starting point for hiking tours. (Journaling is a part from a tourismus brochure)
