Breakfast at the airport




I was so excited. Today was the big day!

Had a yummy breakfast at the airport of Frankfurt and a pleasant flight.

I arrived at the schedulded time at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Nitz, Girlies DH was so kind, to pick me up. We had a nice chat during the drive to their home.

Enjoyed the warm welcome. In a second I felt as snug as a bug in a rug.

It was so wonderful to see them all again, after our first get-together 2010 in Paris.

New haircut from my elder son

Our elder son surprised us today with a new haircut. In the afternoon he was at a public viewing with is father... sad Germany lost 0:1 against Serbia

Today we visited a big flea market in town. Both boys had much fun and made good deals. My elder son bought different shorts and t-shirts, my younger son a detective kit and I bought books for the boys and two t-shirts for me.

In the evening Germany played soccer against Australia at the FIFA World Cup. We won 4:0




Saturday 12.06.2010 Day 163

Guitar (and keyboard) concert in a church

Today my younger son had a swimming competition....outside....sad, the weather was mild but grey, windy and a little bit rainy.

Afterwards we hurried to the church in his grandmother´s village. There was a guitar concert for celebrating the 250 th birthday of the church. It was a family concert especially for children - with funny christian songs - played with guitar and keyboard.

My night was horrific, because of my back pain

Our last day in Austria - and we had to pack the luggage - not easy with such a back and very very painful. But my DH helped me.

It was necessary to went to the pharmacy. I had to buy more painkillers for surviving our homeward journey by car which continues many hours.

We had fantastic weather at our last day!! Really wonderful, so we enjoyed a last café latte in a sidewalk café and our children had much fun with swimming in the pool and by throwing water balloons.

This was the sky during some minutes of our god saved homeward journey. All road accidents were on the other side of the road. We prayed for all the casualties.
