We were busy today. We had to cut down our cherry tree. Much fun for the kids to work with saw and power saw.

This is a common pasque flower (pulsatilla vulgaris) which is growing in our garden.

And this shot I took playing with my new macro lens

The most time we had wonderful warm spring weather with sun! So in the afternoon I made a little cycling tour (12km) with my younger son to an ice cream parlor and afterwards both kids were playing soccer for a while.

What a lovely flower! Sounds like you had a perfect spring day, and the ice cream at the end of your bicycle trip sounds perfect. :)

Such beautiful pictures of the flowers--love the textures and colors. I bet it was a good activity for the family, but a bit sad to cut the cherry tree down.

Beautiful photos!! AND you have a macro lens! Congratulations - you must be thrilled! A macro lens is on my wish list for one day. Right now, a brand new puppy will be eating up all of my money for a while!

Is the lens easy to use?

What kid doesn't enjoy a good power tool every now and then. Pretty bud shot and congrats on your new macro lens. I had one with my old camera and I really miss it.

Wunderschöne Bilder. Die Farben leuchten so richtig! Schade, daß der Kirschbaum dran glauben mußte, ich liebe Kirschen. Aber bevor er eine Gefahr darstellt, war das natürlich besser!

I love the furry flowers you took with the macro lense! Wow, 12k seems like a long ways to cycle, but I bet the ice cream was worth it! :)
